Abstract: Considering the effect of different moulding processes, this paper studies the curing deformation of laminated composites of stiffened panel structures. The curing deformation is assessed after the stiffened panel structures of carbon fiber/epoxy resin composites are created through vacuum bag pressing process by co-curing, co-bonding, and secondary bonding and curing. For different moulding processes, by using an instantaneous linear elastic curing constitutive model and taking residual curing stresses as pre-stress, a finite element simulation method considering different curing methods is proposed, and is also compared and verified with the experimental results. The influences of factors such as moulding processes, layup methods and stiffener thickness on the curing deformation of the stiffened panel structures are analyzed. The results show that moulding processes, layup and stiffener thickness have a great influence on the curing deformation of the structures. The deformation of composite stiffened panel structures decreases considerably by increasing stiffener thickness and adopting an appropriate moulding process through a reasonable layup.
