Abstract: In order to improve the control performance and robustness of the speed-current double closed-loop control model of the PI algorithm on the speed of the electromagnetic coupling governors, this paper injects a fuzzy PID algorithm into a speed control loop, models and simulates by Simulink, then uses the PSO algorithm to optimize the control parameters of the fuzzy PID, and carries out the speed control test of the electromagnetic coupling governor by fuzzy PID control. The results show that, compared with the PI algorithm, the optimized target speed reduces the overshoot by 23.31 r/min, the disturbance by 19.8 r/min, and the settling time by 0.101 s. After the test, the fuzzy PID control eliminates the overshoot, and the settling time reduces by 4 s compared with the PID algorithm. The fuzzy PID control algorithm can improve the speed control performance and robustness of the speed-current double closed-loop to the electromagnetic coupling governor, which has a certain optimization effect compared with the PI algorithm and the PID algorithm.
