• Reference Guidelines for Journal of Chongqing University of Technology (Natural Science)

According to the Regulations for the Compilation and Evaluation of Data Retrieval in Chinese Academic Journals (CAJ-CD B/T 1-2006) and Information and Documentation Rules for Bibliographic References (GB/T 7714-2015), the following requirements are specified for citing references in articles submitted to this journal:

    1. Explanation

    1) Start the reference section with "References:" (left-aligned). Arrange the references in the order they are cited in the main body, using Arabic numerals in square brackets with no punctuation, leaving one space after the closing bracket. Follow the prescribed format for each entry, aligning subsequent lines with the first line. End each reference with a period.

    2) References cited in the main body must have corresponding citations, e.g., [2], [3-5], not [3][4][5].

    3) Do not include reference codes in titles, subtitles, figure names, table names, abstracts, or conclusions. The "References" section at the end should list the references in the order of citation. Author’s name should be written with the surname first, followed by the given name (Non-Chinese Author’s name should be used in abbreviation). If there are fewer than three authors, list all of them; if three or more, list the first three followed by "et al”.

    4) Do not use abbreviations for author’s name or journal’s name. Use internationally recognized abbreviations for words.

    5) When citing the same author's work for multiple times, indicate the reference number in the text for the first citation.

    6) If an article is extracted from a journal, provide the year, volume, issue, part number, and page range after the journal name (e.g. 2006, 27(8) : 25-28). If the volume is not available, use the format like "2006(8): 25-28".
