Abstract: This paper proposes a 10 MN hydraulic press driven by a hydraulic motor. In order to study the dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic press, the speed control system of the electro-hydraulic servo proportional valve-controlled hydraulic motor is used as the research object. By using the unique functional advantages of AMESim and Matlab/Simulink, this paper builds a mechanical model and a control model of the electro-hydraulic servo proportional valve-controlled motor system, and then carries out co-simulation. The fuzzy PID control algorithm is adopted in this paper to control the speed of the hydraulic motor and is compared with the traditional PID control algorithm. The simulation results show that the response time of the fuzzy PID control algorithm is significantly shorter than that of the conventional PID control strategy in the speed control of the electro-hydraulic servo proportional valve-controlled motor, with smaller overshoot and better tracking performance, and the control effect is significantly better than that of the conventional PID control strategy.
